4.9 Carbon Cycle

  • Photosynthesis, we know that carbon dioxide and water are combine in photosynthesis and light energy is trap. Carbon dioxide come from the atmosphere of 0.03%.
  • Feeding are producer that is eaten by the primary consumer takes in the carbon from the producer and the carbon is passing along the food chain when the secondary consumer eats the primary consumer.
  • At each stage in the food chain each ororganisms carry out a process of "respiration" and we know that respiration is organic molecules. Such as glucose. Respiration add carbon dioxide to the atmosphere.
  • Decomposition are the death of the primary and the secondary consumer and broken down by the decomposers of fungi and bacteria and sent carbon dioxide to the atmosphere.
  • Combustion are fossil fuels that are oils and coals. Industrial are the best example of fossil fuels, lightening creates forest fires and grasslands.

4.14 Ehanced Greenhouse Effect

  • Pollution and the molecules such as carbon dioxide, methane and water vapour are greenhouse gases.
  • It would raise the average global temperature which is global warming when the light doesn't escape from the atmosphere.
  • Melting ice caps, raised sea level, occur current and wind.
  • This is all of the climate change features.
  • The changes of the distribution of the World biomass and to the major vegetation which is "Ecosystem".

4.13 Greenhouse Gases

  • Human activity such as burning fossil fuels and the result is that there would be more carbon dioxide, nitrate dioxide and sulphur dioxide.
  • Carbon dioxide and nitrate dioxide are in the greenhouse gases. They absorb infrared light.
  • Burning of fossil fuels is from factory and vehicles which is the combustion of fossil fuels.
  • Farming animals digest of crops they emit methane gas.
  • Evaporation of water form water vapour, clouds is contribute to the greenhouse effect.
  • Refrigeration, solvent and CFC which is carbon, flurine and chlorine that are the absorbtion of ultra violet light.

4.12 Greenhouse Effect

  • Enhanced greenhouse effect is that it raise the level of gas which are carbon dioxide and methane.
  • They will absorb more of the escaping infrared radiation.
  • This would make the temperature increase and the climate would change.
  • There is CFC which is well known as the effect of the Ozone.
  • There is O3 that is much better at absorbing UV-light.

4.11 Gas Pollution

  • Sulphur dioxide form of SO2, sulphur dioxide as a gas is added to the atmosphere when we have a combustion of fossil fuels in our factory.
  • The burning of fossil fuels such as coal. Gives out sulphur dioxide.Sulphur dioxide production comes from vehicles.
  • Atmosphere which has sulphur dioxide added to water which forms sulphuric acid water which condenses cloud and it's called "acid rain". The tree are often burn by the sulphuric acid.
  • The acid rain make the calcium and magnesium to be leached out of the soil. Acid rain leaches Aluminium and this thickens fish gill mucus making it difficult to get oxygen.
  • Acid rain make the lake to become acidic which reduce the pH, it even effect the fish in the lake by reducing the oxygen from the fish getting oxygen from the water.
  • Carbon monoxide is combine with haemoglobin in the red blood cell to form a molecules "carbamino haemoglobin" the problem is that it block haemoglobin from carrying oxygen.
